Bulgaria: Nortia (Sofia)

“Nortia” was established in 2005 by a group of young professionals and students from different Universities from Sofia, Bulgaria.

We are highly motivated people with experience and knowledge about “Youth in action” program and we have been taking part in different kind of events at national and mainly at international level.

Our aims are: European youth co-operation for informal education on the basis of the common European values;
Increasing young people’s awareness and access to relevant youth information, free time activities and international youth programs;
-promoting Bulgarian historic and cultural heritage
-involving young people in social life, sphere of modern art, culture, sports and civil education.
-promoting the idea of social integration through informal education and increasing the knowledge about the main elements of European citizenship;
-encouraging the positive thinking, creativity and exchange of ideas, experience and opinions among the young people from different countries

Our activities are:
To take part in different seminars, exchanges, conferences at local and international level;
To present Youth Program as a tool to work with culture, diversity and active participation
To organize and participate in modern art and photography exhibitions, festivals and competitions;
To participate in sport demonstrations and activities.
